I am not a Playboy
Monday, July 12th, 2010Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi in a top level intellectual political speech in Milan at the Med Forum, affirmed ” I am not a playboy anymore . I am rather a play old” The guy is unbelievable!
Unfortunately he did not stop there. Mr Berlusconi mentioned as well that he is the inventor of the “cou-cou policy”. The Italian prime minister’s odd choice of words was a reference to an incident two years ago when, at a summit in Trieste, he hid behind a lamp post before springing out in front of Germany’s Chancellor, Angela Merkel, with the words “cou-cou” (Italian for “peek-a-boo”).
After recovering from the surprise, Mrs Merkel spread her arms in welcome and said: “Oh, Silvio!”
“I inaugurated a new kind of diplomacy, peek-a-boo diplomacy … a very special kind of politics,” he told a summit of politicians and diplomats from Mediterranean countries in Milan.

Burns Night in London and Kilts
Sunday, January 24th, 2010Few days ago I decided to do a small photographic feature on Burns Night in London. In my search of Scottish life in London I came a across a Kilt maker!
John is a great kilt maker with roots in one of my favourite parts of Scotland has been doing this job for many years and not only knows everything about it but is also passionate and love his job. Obviously he only uses the best Tartan from top mills.
After few minutes in his work shop I felt as I have known John for most of my life. Despite me being in a hurry I think I have spent a good two hours chatting away about a wide range or subjects from Congestion Charge to the traditional London, from crooks to Lord Cadogan…from Dunkeld to Killin.
If you need a kilt and you are in London this is for sure the place to go!

Snow and travel Caos in Europe
Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009Europe is facing severe transport disruptions as the extreme cold sweeps across the continent.
Air, rail and road links have been severely disrupted across northern Europe and more snow is expected throughout the week. Having said that snow can be fun as well!
