Italy - Exceptional High Water in Venice

Local shop keepers monitor the situation of the rising water in Burano. More than 59% of Venice was under water on Thursday, as the historic lagoon town was hit by exceptionally high tides. The sea level rose above 140cm overnight and was expected to remain above critical levels for about 15 hours.
